June is my super special month: there is my little boy’s birthday in June and it also a time of me being a Birthday girl! However, I have to say that my Birthday had always a double meaning for me: the importance of the date accompanied by the wishes and attentions of my dearest people and the melancholic sadness of the awareness of time running inexorable). Fortunately, through the time I’ve learned not only to look at many things (including birthdays) philosophically, but also to make special and unforgettable the days that otherwise could have brought even sadness.
And indeed, this month the day of my birthday very happily and organically made part of our family trip with the whole family to Paris. The attentions and the time dedicated almost entirely to entertain the kids have left no room for nothing but joy, happiness and emotions and positive, precious and unforgettable moments.
And the day of my birthday of this year I will remember like this: laughter and lots of pictures at the Wax Figures Museum Grevìn,
lunch with a view on the Eiffel Tower, fun shopping with and for children (you could not avoid it, right?))) And finally, dinner at my favorite restaurant Le Grand Colbert, became famous thanks to the movie “Something’s gotta come” with Jack Nicholson, Diane Keaton and Keanu Reeves,
and where, by the way, for the first time in my life I’ve had a chance to taste the frog legs…. Oh, yes, you got it right, I mean it: the frog’s tasty legs sauté with garlic, fresh tomatoes and parsley. Delicious!
