Flared Skirts: How To Wear Them

Denim and pink … my daughter said that this outfit made me seem a strict school teacher… I do not completely agree. Firstly, because of the flared-skirt, which always looks girlishly and fervently, adding the coquetry air to the most strict look. Such skirts, in my opinion, are the femininity itself!
While fashion wants them back again, my advice is to add at least one of these wonderful skirts in your wardrobes. To give us, fashionistas, a sunny mood, and, chosen their right type correctly, to hide some flaws and to emphasize the winning traits of our bodies.

Here are some tips to wear such skirts:

The “pear” type needs to wear these skirts knee-length and below (midi).
Shorter ones may emphasize and optically increase the hip volume.

The skinny girls with the narrow hips – can take all advantages of such skirt: it’s soft curves will create nice feminine roundness.

For those who have an “inverted triangle” body, they are also perfect: they’ll balance the proportions and create a more graceful silhouette.

To the apple-type body girls, I advise choosing such skirts with a high waist: this will help to hide the tummy and to emphasize the elegance of the figure.

For those of you who are not very tall the shortened version of such skirts will be advisable. Knee-long and longer skirts will only reduce the height visually.

I’m medium heigh, skinny enough and my hips are far from being wide, so I stopped my attention on this midi version of a flared skirt of an imitating denim fabric, with a charming detail: a zipper in the front.
A delicate pink blouse with ruffles and a perky green print adds the cheerfulness to the outfit and maintains soft lines and feminine air already given by the skirt, sending us to the America of the 50s, where we could see the famous posters of the housewives of the time wearing these very skirts of all possible colors.
Well, now to the jacket. I wanted it intentionally. Firstly, I really liked it’s sleeves – very cute and feminine, secondly, the waist line. These two characteristics go exactly in contrast with the dark denim color, balancing in the right proportion to avoid the extra sweet. And thirdly, with the help of this jacket, I tried to just slightly smooth the housewife of the 50s effect and to bring to the forefront a modern, but very feminine trendy fashionista.
